Still Not Blogging About My Cat

Now this is a bus crash. People weep about their creased fenders. Babies, nothing but babies.

I'm still not blogging about my cat, but I might as well be. Nothing but personal blah blah to be found here. Tentative date for retirement has been set for April 5, 2010. Makin' me jittery. Paperwork should be arriving next week.

Hi Jon, your cat, your life is as good a topic of blog as anything else. Its nice to have insights but at the end of the day it is all personal anyhow. Re retirement. Its not like you have not earned it. Instruct the personal demons to shut up and start looking forward to it.Regards, Joe

I am going to blog about my new cats. And, if you are retiring by choice, that's a farkload better than the other 99% these days that are retiring because of someone elses choice!

I did actually blog about our cat yesterday. He caused computer malfunctions.

I retired in April, about a thousand years ago.

I said "I am not going to get fat like the rest of them" to which I promptly gained 30 pounds.

Before I could turn around, my neat as a pin house was a mess and to this day I don't know how I worked 12 to 24 hour days AND had a life.

Retirement is a very very busy time of life my friend.

Hey Jon-

Having an actual retirement date must be scary and tantalizing at the same time.

I'm rooting for you to keep your mind on your driving and your hands on the wheel - and keep getting the corners until then.

There's lots of good stuff on the road ahead....

Keep believing,
Laura

Now you will finally have the time to play some cribbage with the Smothers Brothers down at the senior centre.
