Sometime soon, I'm going to do one of two things with this blog. I might just buy a camera, set up an account at a file sharing site, start taking lots of pictures of my daily walks and publish them along with real, downloadable fer yer enjoyment, music files. Then again, I might just give the whole thing up.
I know I have a few fairly regular readers. Let me know what you think. Delurk yourself, if you would be so kind.

jon, i enjoy your blog. our blogs though are from within so the future is your call. nothing stays the same, its deciding whether its time for the end or time for a break. i prefer walking to blogging. good luck with whatever you decide. A.N.
Not a bad idea.
Having recently acquired a mobile phone finally capable of taking photographs, I have been thinking of sharing some more documentary snaps myself; the only trouble is, I can't find a way of uploading them to my pc - although I went so far as to purchase a data cable - since you are required, it seems, to apply software to the phone first and the manufacturers neglected to make it Mac compliant.
Anyway, enough about me. I am all for it. Cut out the middle man, pictorially speaking.
You could sub-title your photographic posts "The Streets of Santa Rosa."
This my first post @ a blog. I kind of tried a couple other times but did not recognize the entry. Don’t know if this is really a hole where the letters can get in either. Glad to have wandered into your blog Jon as it has helped me see things I was ignoring that I shouldn’t.
When I imagined you walking, Jon, I immediately heard your voice too. So how about a video with a sound track? See who crosses your path to that you can bring up hear to Clearlake.
Things round here have gotten very easy lately since observing regular / daily @ 8am appointment w/ friends. I’ll post you a pict of our new door if the camera ever shows up again. j
Photos are always nice for viewers, especially if you've taken some time with them, and they also help you focus as a writer. What's the story you're trying to tell?
Personally, I'd like to hear stories from your other career as a transportation professional. I think it would be fascinating.
It would be amusing to see the wirld in pictures through what you see on a daily basis. I think your blog is in the top 98%. You've got a Mensa blog. Keep writing and create.
Peace
